The Money Advice Service

National Debtline
You can speak to someone directly on the phone or using their online chat facility. Call them on 0808 808 4000 or visit their website at www.nationaldebtline.org.
Civil Legal Advice
If you are entitled to legal aid you can get free and confidential legal advice in England and Wales. Call them on 0845 345 4345 or visit their website at www.gov.uk/civil-legal-advice.
Advice Guide
Advice Guide is part of the Citizen’s Advice Bureau and provides information on your rights on benefits, housing, debt, consumer and legal issues. Visit their website at www.adviceguide.org.uk.
StepChange (CCCS)
StepChange provide a free helpline offering free, independent and impartial advice to people in the UK. Call them on 0800 138 1111 or visit their website at www.stepchange.org.
